About:

Kayan began learning music at the age of 13, since then she has developed a strong foundation in musicianship and a passion for teaching. Over the past decade Kayan has worked with students across a wide range of ages and skill levels, helping them prepare for graded exams and performance opportunities. Her teaching style focuses on building solid technical skills while encouraging musical expression and enjoyment. In addition to one-to-one lessons, Kayan has experience in group teaching, organising student recitals, and supporting learners through exam preparation. She has also worked in music school administration and served on the management committee of the Hong Kong Elite Chamber Orchestra, helping to coordinate events and performances. Kayan is known for her warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching, and she is committed to nurturing each student’s musical journey.
