Laurence has written pedagogical articles for the European Piano Teachers’ Association Magazine and has performed as a soloist and MD in concerts and jazz festivals across the UK and Europe.

Laurence believes in a holistic approach to education so that things learnt in the piano lesson draw on what people already know from life or are learning at school or university. For example, Laurence tailors what he does with each student so that the learning process is bespoke to them. Education at its best should be adapted to each individual because everyone learns in a different way.
