About:

Christy is an open-minded, patient, and creative classical and experimental contemporary composer, pianist, and flautist. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with an MMus in Music Composition. She studied under renowned composers Stephen Montague, Nye Perry, Sam Hayden, and Deirdre Gribbin. She also studied piano with Katie Halsall and flute with Stina Dawes during her programme at the University of Kent.

Christy has extensive experience working with children, including students with special needs and English language difficulties. She has guided students of all ages and abilities, helping them develop a love and passion for music while achieving their musical goals, including preparation for recitals, exams, and competitions. Her lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style, and musical interests, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Her students have also received piano competition awards, including several top awards in the Wien International Young Musicians Music Competition and the Piara International Piano Competition. She has received several awards recognizing her outstanding contribution to music teaching.
